Mission
Beacon of Hope strives to provide excellent behavior analytic services to Ozark and the surrounding areas. We collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to enhance and apply evidence-based practices.
About Us
We offer applied behavior analysis and behavior consulting services
Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment found to be effective for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. ABA is based on the science of behavior and we use individualized behavior intervention to decrease behaviors inhibiting individuals from their full quality of life. Our behavior plans also target skill acquisitions that will allow our clients to adaptivley accomplish their life goals.
How to Begin
The first step for most families we serve is to get a referral from their insurance company sent to us. We accept Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, All Kids, Medicaid and more. We also are willing to discuss private pay arrangements. Following receiving a referral and intake paperwork you will be contacted by a board certified behavior analyst to schedule an assessment. At the assessment, we will discuss your child's past medical records, behaviors, strengths, weaknesses, school environment, as well as cultural and spiritual preferences. This information will be used to construct an individualized behavior plan for your child. We will then meet to discuss the plan and the plan goals. Finally, you will be asked to give your input regarding scheduling and you will meet your child's ABA team including their registered behavior technician(s).
Board Certified Behavior Analysts
Beacon of Hope has two BCBAs that are responsible for conducting assessments, writing behavior plans, teaching technicians and caregivers how to implement behavior protocols, group meetings, and clinic activities.
