I hope everyone is off to a great start of the school year! I wanted to develop another outlet for connecting with the community and sharing information; hopefully this blog will help to accomplish that.
In-case I haven't met you in person I wanted to introduce myself: My name is Shelby DiPilla. I am a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) practising in Enterprise, AL. I also run the Enterprise Autism Social Group and have been working hard to connect with resources in the community and reach out.
I absolutely love what I do- I have found my true calling by offering applied behavior analysis therapy to families and I feel privileged to be able to work with each of my clients. I always believed in the saying "Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life". My clients have such amazing gifts to share with the world and being able to assist them on their journey of discovering who they are and what they are capable of is always a joy. I became interested in special education after being diagnosed with dyslexia in elementary school. While I never quite pictured being a behavior analyst I feel very blessed that I am able to help advocate for children who are very creative, unique, and clever.
I hope to write again soon!
